Big fun playing on the Legendary Blues Cruise!

Playing with Chris Cain in the Showroom with Tommy Castro sitting in – in costume!

Just got off the ship after a great week of playing on the Legendary Blues Cruise. If you haven’t gone on one before, it’s a week of performances, jams and musical spontaneous combustion with big names in the Blues scene. I played gigs with Chris Cain, sat in with Tommy Castro, Coco Montoya,  Wee Willie, Frank Bey and Anthony Paule, played piano bar at Mitch Woods Club 88 with Ed Early from Elvin Bishop’s band on vocals and trombone, Charles McNiel on sax,  Mary Elliot on flute and Steve Evans playing bass. If you haven’t gone on one of these you owe it to yourself to give it a try. All other cruises pale in comparison. Looking forward to the next one!
